Unlike traditional tissue paper holders, TPH Steel is not just a functional item but also a statement piece. Made from high-quality steel, this innovative design elevates the humble tissue paper to a new level of sophistication. Its reverse U-shaped form not only makes it visually appealing but also allows for easy access to the papers. Simply pick up a paper from the package and place it between the trays - it's that simple.
One of the key strengths of TPH Steel lies in its versatility. The steel body of the holder is not only lightweight but also serves as a post-it board with the help of magnets. This dual functionality makes it a practical addition to any office or living room, enhancing both its functionality and aesthetics.
Creating TPH Steel was no easy feat. The designer faced challenges in finding the right balance between the weight of the trays and the overall stability of the holder. After several iterations, a perfect balance was achieved, resulting in a design that allows for smooth and effortless paper retrieval.
With its dimensions of W235mm x D140mm x H85mm and a weight of 550g, TPH Steel is compact and space-saving. The choice of black and silver colors, with a matte finish, adds to its sleek and modern appeal, making it a perfect companion for your office desk.
The design process for TPH Steel began in Tokyo in August 2018 and was completed in Ishikawa Prefecture in December 2018. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of Japanese factories shine through in every aspect of this design.
Recognizing its excellence, TPH Steel was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2020. This prestigious award is a testament to the practicality, innovation, and professional standards upheld by this remarkable design.
TPH Steel is not just a tissue paper holder; it is a testament to the power of design to transform everyday objects into works of art. With its unique blend of functionality and style, TPH Steel is set to revolutionize the way we store and display tissue paper.
